Chris Tsang is so excited and honored to be Neabsco's principal.  Mr. Tsang started out as a teacher's assistant in a 6th-grade Humanities classroom in Boston Public Schools at an Expeditionary Learning (EL) Outward Bound school.  He then taught 7th and 8th grade English and Humanities for ten years.  During this time, he was an 8th grade English teacher at the Harbor School in Boston, Massachusetts and was a teacher leader who helped the school move the school out of turnaround status.  He was an instructional coach and Dean of Humanities for two years at Dorchester Collegiate Academy, a charter school serving grades 4-8.  After that, he became assistant principal of Woodland Elementary School, the largest elementary school in Massachusetts, serving close to 1,000 students in grades 3-5.


Mr. Tsang received his B.A. in English from Amherst College, his Masters in Education from Lesley University and earned his principal licensure in the school administration program at Harvard's Graduate School of Education.


Mr. Tsang is married to his wife Erica and they currently live in Montclair.  Erica is a family medicine physician at Kaiser Permanente in Woodbridge.  Mr. Tsang and Dr. Tsang like to cook, bake and find hidden gems in the area to eat delicious food.  Mr. Tsang also likes to watch movies and play tennis.
